- Choose the post you want from your current X tab.
- Copy everything, text only, or just the post link.
- Rich clipboard content includes images; plain text includes media URLs.
Unzip. Load. Meet your Postii.
These are downloadable builds, not Chrome Web Store listings. Install only if you’re comfortable loading an unpacked extension.
- Download the ZIP on your computer and extract it to a folder you’ll keep.
- In desktop Chrome, enter
chrome://extensionsin the address bar. - Turn on Developer mode, then choose Load unpacked.
- Select the extracted postii-copy folder containing
manifest.json. - Use Chrome’s extensions menu to pin Postii X Post Copier to your toolbar.
To uninstall, choose Remove on its card at chrome://extensions. Updates are manual: download the new build and reload the extension.
Put it to work.
Open X and let the post load. Open Postii X Post Copier from your toolbar, select the intended post, and choose what to copy.
Some apps strip rich formatting or remote images. Videos are not copied as files. Quoted-post media can appear with the selected post, so review what you paste.

Reads the selected X tab only when you invoke it. Clipboard writes happen when you click Copy. No background scraping, history access, or saved content.
